Bonjour Paris! We’ve complied a list to get the most out of Paris in a way that everyone can enjoy.
- Left Bank favorite Hôtel de Fleurie has special rooms for families – two rooms connected by a door with a pair of large beds in each one that can sleep as many as eight. Kids under 12 stay free with their parents.
- Condé Nast recommends bistros and brasseries where Parisians actually eat en famille. In particular they recommend Astier for it’s “introduce the kids to real French food” offerings.
- Think about your kids’ attention span. Older kids might love the day tromping around the Louvre, but younger kids might think it’s a bore. Think shorter trips and smaller museums with lots of outdoor time in the many famous parks of Paris.
- The Cité des Enfants, part of the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industri has plenty of hands-on exhibits keep kids interested and engaged. Plan on making a day of it!
If you are staying longer than a week, you may want to consider renting a self-catering apartment for a service like VRBO.com. Bon voyage!
